Mandated Reporter Training

Mandated Reporter Training is provided by trained staff from the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Attendees learn the details of the Child Protection Law including:

  • definitions of abuse and neglect;
  • who qualifies as a Mandated Reporter;
  • the responsibilities/obligations of a Mandated Reporter;
  • how to make a report
  • what occurs once a report is made; and
  • potential incomes of a report.

Trainers can conduct your training on-site for your staff or community group. The trainings are free of charge, but we ask attendees to fill out a brief evaluation to help us understand how we're meeting your expectations.
