What is the CA/N Council?
The Huron County Child Abuse/ Neglect (CA/N) Council is a group of professionals, parents and volunteers who have joined together to prevent the abuse and neglect of children through awareness and education.
CA/N Organizational Vision
We believe children should grow up in a safe, supportive environment. Preventing child abuse and neglect is in the best interest of children, families and society. A community-wide effort will have a significant impact in the future of children.
Programs the Council Sponsors:
Bubbylonian Encounter, Huron County Baby Pantry, Kids First of Huron County Dinner, Family Enrichment Parenting Class, Parenting Awareness Month, Child Abuse Prevention Month, Huron County Postpartum Support Group and Say Yes To No Parenting Classes.
Speakers about CA/N Council are available to any group, business or organization in Huron County free of charge.

Panel Presentations
The Council also sponsors a Panel Presentation for Mandated Reporters and other interested groups. The Panel includes professionals involved in investigation and prosecution of child abuse/neglect.
