Ribbon Flocking Campaign


Join our Ribbon Flocking Campaign to raise awareness for the prevention of child abuse and neglect. For $25 (minimum), select a local business or private residence to be "flocked" with blue ribbons. Our Council will place a regular (25 ribbons) or super-sized flock (50 ribbons) in the yard of your selected recipient.

If you want to be sure your premises is protected from flocking, be sure to use the form below to purchase your insurance today!

16th Annual Roof Sit a Success!

Thank you to everyone who donated time or funds to make the 2012 Roof Sit a Success. Together, we raised $12,242.65. First place fundraising honors belong to Independent Bank with a total of $1,883.85. For pictures of the event, be sure to visit our Facebook page.

Huron County Great Start Lending Library Available for Parents and Early Childhood Professionals

What is available?
Experience Bins: Theme based toys and materials plus activity plans that provide ideas for developmentally appropriate hands-on activities.

CARES Kits (Children Acquiring Rich Experience and Skills): A toy and activity book that guides learning a specific skill; 24 foundational skills.
Story Stretchers: A storybook and activity ideas for extending the book across multiple areas of development.

Literacy Playgroup 2012 Meetings


Literacy Playgroups are fun, learning outings for children birth-five and their parents.
Literacy Playgroups will provide children with a variety of books, toys, and activities to participate in. During each session children will hear a story, have snack, and play. At each session we will encourage those eligible parents to chose books to check-out with their children.
